Kuretake Fude Pen No. 55

KURETAKE FUDE PEN NIHON-DATE KABURA (No.55) is a double-sided brush pen that is a representation of the craftsmanship of Kuretake’s Fude Pen. This fude pen was developed in 1980, and after being refined over many decades.

The name “NIHON-DATE” means “a double feature” in Japanese. The subtle curves of the body, called “KABURA” come from traditional calligraphy brush shapes. This fude pen fits nicely into the hand, and reduces feelings of discomfort after use for long periods of time.
